get to know

At The Forgetful Fork, food is more than what’s on the plate…

it’s a mission, a memory, and a way to serve our community. Founded by classically trained chefs with the skill to create everything from five-Michelin-star elegance to the warm embrace of comfort food, we believe in nourishing both body and soul.

Feed people. Share love. Create memories worth savoring.

Our journey is deeply personal. Chef Steve, husband of The Forgetful Forks Chef/Owner Jannette, and father of co-owner Alex, was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. A challenge that reshaped our lives but strengthened our purpose.

His story has touched many, and you can read more about it in his Lancaster Online article below. Chef Steve was diagnosed at only 45 years of age… and given a 6 to 8 year life expectancy. He is quickly approaching 10 years, due to Jannette’s dedication, positive attitude, and going all organic/non-gmo.
